Lake Karapiro in New Zealand proved to be a wonderful venue for the regatta, and despite some testing conditions the Australian Rowing Team managed to secure a gold medal, four silver medals and three bronze medals.

The Aussie crews to get themselves onto the podium were:

Gold - Men's Coxed Pair

Silver - Women's Double Scull, Women's Four, Men's Lightweight Eight and the Men's Lightweight Four

Bronze - Men's Eight, Men's Quad Scull and the Mixed Doubles Trunk and Arms
