Nathan has been nominated as one of only five men in line to win the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Award for 2009. The 23 year old already has a crowded prize shelf and one aspect of Outteridge’s sailing resume that is sure to impress those voting on the award, is his versatility. Nathan discusses how it feels to be nominated, his ventures into different classes, his back injury as a result of a car accident and the gruelling requirements of an Olympic campaign.
